Emmanuel Opuni is a global health policy specialist, a sociologist, and a project management professional. He has excellent experience in field research with a passion for translating research evidence into implementable policy to improve the health of the population, apart from special interests in preventive health and addiction policies. Emmanuel has strong knowledge and experience in health policy, public health research, health security, project management, procurement management, logistics and supply chain management, training, and capacity building among others. He has been part of teams in consultancy works involving the University of Ghana Medical School (UGMS), the International Finance Corporation (IFC), and the Barry Callebaut Group among others. Emmanuel has experience in Procurement Management, Logistics, and supply chain management. He has contributed to four publications in respected peer-reviewed journals. Emmanuel also has experience in project management, monitoring, evaluation, and learning after managing a few projects successfully. He has over a decade of experience in training and capacity-building. Emmanuel has a double master’s degree (Global Health Policy and Sociology) from the London School of Economics and Political Science, and certifications in project management professional (PMP), and PRINCE2/PRINCE2 Agile practitioner. He is an active member of the Project Management Institute.
